For an extra $14 per month, you can upgrade to the ufirst Private Current Account and take advantage of benefits designed to help make life easier and more affordable.

Your Relationship Manager will be able to provide you with information on all of the benefits available to you as a ufirst Private customer but some of these include:


Mobile phone insurance

You and your family's phones are covered for loss, theft, accidental damage and breakdown plus unauthorised calls in the event of theft or loss, wherever you are in the world. The excess for each claim is $95. Registration required.

  • Cover for up to four phones owned and used by you, your partner and children who live at home with you
  • Covers unauthorised calls up to $3,000 (inc VAT*) for monthly contracts and up to $100 (inc VAT*) for pay as you go customers
  • All claims need to be reported to the insurer within 60 days of discovery.  For unauthorised use claims, you’ll need to report the loss or theft to your network provider within 24 hours of discovery
  • A $95 excess applies for each claim

You need to register your handset with the insurance provider in order to avail of this benefit.

Please note: Mobile Phone Insurance is introduced by CoxCrest Bank to the insurance provider Aviva Insurance Limited. Aviva will use members of the Carphone Warehouse Group to administer the policy and deal with claims on their behalf




Annual worldwide travel insurance

You and your family can enjoy multi-trip cover for up to 31 days per trip, plus 17 days winter sports cover per year. If you have an existing medical condition, please note that your cover may exclude certain conditions. Registration required.

  • Cover includes you, your partner and children under 18 (or under 23 and in full-time education)
  • You have to live in USA, United Kingdom or Channel Islands and have not spent more than six months abroad during the last year

Up to $1,000 interest free-overdraft

You have access to an interest-free overdraft limit of up to $1000 (subject to credit review and approval). You won’t be charged interest if your account balance remains below your agreed interest-free limit, but if you exceed this limit you will be charged interest on the full amount borrowed.

Important information

A Government Stamp Duty charge of 12 cent is applied to each domestic  cash withdrawal made at an ATM. The total fee paid per annum per card is capped at $2.50 on ATM only cards and $5 on combined ATM and debit cards, and is applied annually in January.

To qualify, you need an annual income of $150,000 or greater, a joint income of $175,000 or greater, or you may be invited to join. Only available to over 18s, resident in the USA. Lending criteria, terms and conditions apply.
